Section one: general rules
Article one: these terms and conditions are made for providing members of Anji Car Rental & Leasing co., Ltd. (below called “AVIS Car Rental”) a beneficial, complete, and fast service. It is also made for clarifying the members’ responsibilities and rights.

The member card of AVIS Car Rental (below called “member card”) is a certification of a member’s identity. It also certifies members to enjoy the membership car rental services provided by AVIS Car Rental for businesses and individuals.

Section two: requirements for applicant
Article two: any citizen who has a permanent residence in a city in china where AVIS Car Rental operates and the People’s Republic of China Automobile drivers license can apply to be a member of the AVIS Car Rental members club.

Article three: To apply for an Avis members card, the person should complete all procedures, fill in the application form, and affirm to abide by the terms and conditions. AVIS Car Rental has the right to ask the applicants to provide valid guarantees as part of the procedures. AVIS Car Rental will decide whether to approve an applicant to be a member and will not be required to explain the reasons for rejected applications.

Article four: Member cards cannot be transferred to others, and only the authorized member is qualified to be a valid card-holder (below called “card-holders”).

Article five: A guarantor has a three year responsibility which is related to the liabilities and responsibilities of a card-holder using a members card to rent cars.

Article six: A guarantor has the above-mentioned responsibility to a card-holder’s liabilities and responsibilities that happened during the member card’s valid period which is stated in Article ten of these terms and conditions. A guarantor can stop the above-mentioned assurance by notifying AVIS Car Rental in writing 30 days prior, but the guarantor is responsible for the assurance of the liabilities occurring before the notification is valid. AVIS Car Rental has the right to stop the card-holder’s member identity by the day they receive the notification. If a member is not able to offer a new valid assurance, his/her members card will be cancelled.

Article seven: AVIS Car Rental has the right to reconfirm a member’s qualification whenever necessary.

Section three: Rights and Duties
Article eight: Card-holders should abide by all processes when renting with any branch of AVIS Car Rental. He/She should also complete all procedures as requested.

AVIS Car Rental retains the right to change the favorable measures awarded to its members at any time.

Article nine: Members have the right to quit the membership, but members must provide confirmation in writing. Members must also pay any expenses and debts resulting from using the services of AVIS Car Rental before closing their membership.

Article ten: The validity period of a member card is one year and it can continue one year automatically after the annual qualification check. It is necessary for the card-holder to pass the annual qualification check (for specific annual qualification check requirements see related membership rules. AVIS Car Rental does not have to notify card-holders, unless the member asks to quit the membership or AVIS Car Rental.

Card-holders and guarantor are liable for all legal responsibilities and liabilities resulting from using an overdue member card.

Article eleven: If the information of a card-holder or a guarantor is changed (such as the change of company address or the change of residence address), he/she should notify AVIS Car Rental in writing within 24 hours. If the card-holder loses his/her member card, he/she should report to AVIS Car Rental immediately. The card holder will be responsible for any losses resulting from a lost card which is not reported.

Article twelve: AVIS Car Rental owns members card. If a card-holder violates the terms and conditions of membership of rental, AVIS Car Rental will cancel his/her membership and request all outstanding debts be paid.
