The AVIS Membership is classified into Red Card/Silver Card/Gold Card membership.
There is no restriction on the valid term of the AVIS Red Card Membership, while
the Silver/Gold Card Membership shall have a valid term of one (1) year, which shall
commence as of the date of grade modification/extension and end on the final day
of the same calendar month in the next year. AVIS shall have the right to deem any
such member to have quitted automatically if he/she has had no car rental record
within 24 consecutive months. AVIS shall have the right to terminate the membership
of anyone who has failed to pay the rent due or otherwise incurred any credit risks
etc. during the term of car rental. The extension and upgrading of membership shall
be principally based on the number of days of car rental and subject to such provisions
as follows:

Within the red card membership period, if the number of car rental days is up
to 16 days within 12 consecutive months, you may apply for the upgrading to a silver
card member. The silver card membership shall remain valid for one (1) year once
approved.

Within the red card membership period, if the number of car rental days is up
to 30 days within 12 consecutive months (have not applied for the upgrading to a
silver car member), you may apply for the upgrading to a gold card member. The gold
card membership shall remain valid for one (1) year once approved.

Within each single silver card membership period, if the number of car rental
days is up to 20 days, you may apply for the upgrading to a gold card member. The
gold card membership shall remain valid for one (1) year once approved.

Within each single gold card membership period, if the number of car rental days
is up to 20 days, your membership will be automatically extended for one (1) year.

Within each single gold card membership period, if the number of car rental days
has reached 20 days, your membership will be automatically extended for one (1)
year.

Downgrading of silver card membership/gold card membership
|
|
|
|
|
|
In the failure of a silver card/gold card member to have met the membership retaining/upgrading
requirements within the valid term, then the membership shall be downgraded upon
expiry of such membership by one level, namely from gold card down to silver card
or from silver card to red card.

|
|
|
Note: Each deal of either point-to-point transfer services or airport pick-up
& see-off services lasting for less than 24 hours shall be counted as one (1) day.
